President Donald Trump will mark the 25th anniversary of the September 11 attacks with a remembrance ceremony at the Pentagon on Friday, honouring the victims and first responders who died in the 2001 terrorist attacks. Bush and Bill Clinton, along with former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani, while other administration officials will mark the anniversary in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, giving the White House a presence at all three attack sites. It continues a pattern from Trump's previous years in office, having attended Pentagon memorials in 2017, 2019 and 2024, and Shanksville services in 2018 and 2020. Ahead of the anniversary, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation displayed a 21-foot, 16,900-pound steel beam recovered from the World Trade Center's South Tower at the White House as part of its "Steel Across America" tour.
