TrustNordisk Boards Viking Drama ‘Stiklestad’ — AFM

TrustNordisk has acquired international sales rights to *Stiklestad*, a Viking drama it will present at the upcoming American Film Market. Directed by Erik Skjoldbjærg, whose previous film *Narvik* was released in 2022, the project centres on a woman caught up in King Olav Haraldsson’s campaign to unite Norway.

Set in 1030, the story follows Aud, a skilled blacksmith captured with her sister and forced to make weapons for the king. The film is Skjoldbjærg’s eighth feature, produced by Nordisk Film Production with support from the Norwegian Film Institute and Filminvest. Kathrine Valen Zeiner and Maren Skolem wrote the screenplay; Nordisk Film Distribution will handle Nordic distribution.
