Tubi Hits 110 Million Monthly Users as Fox Streamer Delivers Highest Revenue Quarter Yet (Exclusive)

The Hollywood Reporter · 2 hours ago

Tubi, the free ad-supported streaming service owned by Fox, has surpassed 110 million monthly active users and just posted its highest-revenue quarter to date, according to figures shared exclusively with The Hollywood Reporter. Chief executive Anjali Sud says the milestone validates a decade-long bet on free, ad-supported streaming, arguing that audiences increasingly favour choice and on-demand viewing over paying for multiple subscriptions. The growth comes as rivals move in the same direction, with Netflix expanding its ad-supported tier and Disney reportedly weighing a free offering, which Sud frames as evidence the wider market is following Tubi's lead.

Tubi's user base has grown from more than 100 million reported last year to over 110 million now, while annual revenue has passed $1 billion (£790 million). Sud noted that audience numbers rose 14 per cent year-on-year, while viewing time grew faster still at 17 per cent, a sign the platform is not just attracting more viewers but keeping them engaged. Beyond streaming, Tubi has become a central part of Fox's digital strategy, underpinning its advertising business and expanding into podcasts and creator content through its Red Seat Ventures division, a push set to grow further once Fox's acquisition of Roku completes.
