Tubi Sets Short-Form Horror Anthology Series ‘Bite Size Terror’ For Fall Release (EXCLUSIVE)

Variety · 2 hours ago

Tubi has announced a new short-form horror anthology series, "Bite Size Terror," produced by GJMD Studio and executive produced by former studio chief Peter Rice. The 10-episode series will launch as part of the streamer's Terror on Tubi Hub in autumn 2026, forming part of Tubi's wider strategy of expanding short-form and clip-based content to compete with social platforms such as TikTok and YouTube.

The anthology will span a broad range of horror subgenres, including the supernatural, occult, body horror, dark comedy and monster stories, with episodes exploring themes such as grief, ambition and vulnerability. Tubi's Chief Content Officer Adam Lewinson said the show adds to a horror hub already offering more than 53 million hours of content, while Rice noted the horror shorts programme has previously produced 90 shorts and nine first features. The deal was brokered by David Worthen Brooks and Lewinson, with Brooks, Arbi Pedrossian and David Moore also serving as executive producers.
