TV tonight: David Mitchell’s crime-solving Ludwig returns
The BBC's cosy-crime drama Ludwig returns for a second series, following David Mitchell as John "Ludwig" Taylor, whose true identity has now been revealed. The show retains some tension as Taylor, now a police employee, continues investigating his brother's disappearance while a suspicious chief constable, Ziegler, keeps a watchful eye on him, alongside his usual case-of-the-week format.
The evening's schedule also includes the 23rd series of Dragons' Den, notable for having more female than male panellists for the first time, and further instalments of A House Through Time, Better Date Than Never and the concluding episode of Sky Atlantic's slavery-themed thriller Possession. The film choice is a Prime Video documentary on tennis player Novak Djokovic, The Wolf in Winter, exploring his public image behind the scenes at the 2025 Australian Open.
