TV tonight: Gugu Mbatha-Raw stars in a supernatural horror drama
Tonight's TV picks are led by Possession, a new supernatural drama on Sky Atlantic starring Gugu Mbatha-Raw as British lawyer Claudia, who travels to Jamaica to challenge an inheritance claim on a former plantation. As she investigates, she becomes haunted by the estate's dark history, with flashbacks gradually revealing how the past connects to the present-day dispute. Elsewhere, BBC One's Who Do You Think You Are? follows heptathlete Katarina Johnson-Thompson tracing her family roots in the Bahamas and Miami, while Sky Atlantic's The Five-Star Weekend reaches its dramatic finale.
Other highlights include Channel 4's Renovation Rescue, in which Vogue Williams and Luke Mabbott help rescue a stalled home renovation, and the concluding episode of BBC Two's true-crime series The Devil in the Family: The Fall of Ruby Franke. ITV1's The Chase Around the World relocates its quiz format to Paris, and Film4 airs Douglas Sirk's 1955 classic All That Heaven Allows, starring Jane Wyman and Rock Hudson, at 4.50pm.
