Twelve South has launched a smaller version of its leather-wrapped Valet wireless charging tray, aimed at tighter spaces such as a nightstand, while also increasing its charging power. The move follows the original Valet's debut at CES earlier in 2026 and reflects broader demand for compact, higher-power Qi2 accessories that still offer a premium look, as competitors like Mophie and Satechi push similar upgrades.

The new Valet measures 4.5 inches deep, nearly half the original's 7.5 inches, making it suited to a single item like glasses rather than a small catchall for keys and a wallet. It boosts the wireless charging speed from 15W to 25W, though the side USB-C port's output drops from 15W to 10W when the Qi2 charger is active. Priced at $129.99, it undercuts the larger $179.99 model but remains pricier than most Qi2 chargers due to its weighted zinc alloy base, Nappa leather tray in black, brown or taupe, and a swappable metal frame.
