Twisted Teens Announce Their Third Album of the Year

Pitchfork · 2 hours ago

New Orleans duo Twisted Teens have announced The Holy Cross Tigers, their third album of 2026, due out on 6 November via Sub Pop. It marks the band's debut release on the label following their signing last month, and comes as the pair, Caspian Hollywell and RJ Santos, continue an unusually prolific run of output this year.

The album follows Blame the Clown, released in January on Chain Smoking Records, and Florida Water Blues, which came out in July on Going Underground, making it their fourth full-length overall. The lead single "When We First Met" arrives with a music video directed by Anthony Simpkins featuring a medieval-style brawl. Twisted Teens remain on tour, with more than a dozen dates still to play supporting Kurt Vile and the Violators, followed by a headline run through Australia in December.
