Two British tourists found dead in hotel in Morocco as probe launched into tragic discovery
Two British tourists were found dead in a hotel room in Agadir, Morocco, prompting a police investigation and an ordered autopsy. The discovery matters because two other guests from the same hotel were also reportedly taken to hospital in critical condition, while the cause of the deaths is not yet known.
Police and forensic teams examined the room on Monday, but the hotel and the deceased tourists have not been identified. The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office said it was supporting the families and liaising with local authorities. The deaths follow the discovery of British tourist Clare Mitchell, 31, in an Agadir hotel room on 9 October.
