Two men have appeared before Sheffield Magistrates’ Court after being charged in connection with recent disorder in the Page Hall area of Sheffield. The case is significant because the incidents involved serious alleged violence and prompted a large police operation, with further arrests and enquiries continuing.

Bartolomej Mizigar, 38, and Jan Mizigar, 21, were charged with two counts of attempted murder and violent disorder after a reported collision and assault near a petrol station on Owler Lane on 4 August. Police said two men were seriously injured, and officers later seized 50 weapons during an operation; Bartolomej Mizigar also faced allegations of dangerous driving and driving without insurance.
