Two teenagers charged over Halloween party stabbing appear in court

Two 16-year-old boys from Southampton appeared in court after five teenagers were stabbed at a Halloween party in Chandler’s Ford, Hampshire. One is charged with attempted murder and the other with wounding with intent; the case has been sent to Southampton Crown Court.

Police say an uninvited group entered the party after details were shared on Snapchat. The five injured boys, aged 16 and 17, were taken to hospital: four have since been discharged and one remains in a serious condition. Both defendants were remanded, while four other boys arrested in connection with the incident were released on bail with conditions.
