Netflix has renewed Tyler Perry's drama "Beauty in Black" for a fourth season, just months after announcing that the show's third season would be its last. The decision reverses a December 2025 statement that the series would conclude, meaning the Bellarie family saga will continue rather than wrap up as previously planned, a notable turnaround given how recently the ending had been confirmed.

Perry, who created, writes, produces and directs the show, said there was "so much more" he wanted to explore and thanked viewers for their continued support. No release date has yet been set for either the previously announced third season or the newly confirmed fourth. "Beauty in Black" premiered on Netflix in 2024 and has so far released two seasons, each split into two batches of eight episodes, with a cast led by Taylor Polidore Williams and Crystle Stewart.

  • Netflix renews "Beauty in Black" for Season 4 after "final season" claim.
  • Season 3 was announced in December 2025 as the show's last.
  • No release dates yet confirmed for Seasons 3 or 4.
