London artist TYSON has released a new single, 'Away', featuring Coby Sey and Nosaj Thing, continuing the sonic world established by her recent single 'The Edge'. The track blends Nosaj Thing's atmospheric production with vocal interplay between TYSON and Coby Sey, exploring themes of power, conflict and creative autonomy. It arrives via Ladies Music Pub Records, the incubator TYSON co-founded in 2015 to support women and gender-diverse people in music.

TYSON wrote 'Away' while pregnant, describing it as addressing a difficult relationship that left her feeling diminished, written as she entered motherhood and resolved never to let herself be minimised again. The single follows her earlier Lucky Me release, which included the tracks 'Jumpstart' and 'Grunge' (the latter featuring Wu-Lu).
