U2 are an Irish rock band formed in Dublin in 1976, with Bono as lead singer and Larry Mullen Jr. on drums. They became one of the world’s best-known touring bands through songs such as “With or Without You” and large-scale live shows.

The group’s last worldwide tour was the Joshua Tree Tour in 2017 and 2019. Mullen missed their recent Las Vegas Sphere residency while recovering from health problems, so his return is relevant to the band’s line-up on the road.
