Ubisoft has confirmed it is proposing to close RedLynx, potentially affecting up to 52 jobs, and says 70 positions have been impacted at Ubisoft Singapore. The announcement clarifies earlier reports of planned cuts at the two studios, which are part of a wider review of Ubisoft’s operations.

The RedLynx closure proposal is subject to negotiations under Finnish labour laws. The studio, founded in 2000 and acquired by Ubisoft in 2011, is known for the Trials games; Ubisoft Singapore has worked on several Assassin’s Creed titles and led development of Black Flag Resynced.
