Ulster ‘know how dangerous Zebre can be’ – O’Toole
Ulster prop Tom O’Toole says his side will not underestimate Zebre when they meet in Parma on Saturday to begin their European Challenge Cup campaign. Zebre have lost their first three United Rugby Championship matches this season, but their 15-14 win over Ulster in Belfast in January 2025 remains a warning of the threat they pose at home.
Ulster have drawn two and lost one of their opening three league games, including a 26-26 draw with Munster after trailing by 21 points at half-time. O’Toole says improving discipline and avoiding preventable penalties are priorities as the team seeks a better start in Europe after reaching last season’s final, where they lost heavily to Montpellier. The 28-year-old also hopes to earn selection for Ireland’s November squad, having won 24 caps.
