UN-appointed experts say there are reasonable grounds to believe the US committed war crimes in two February strikes in Iran that killed at least 177 civilians. The Minab attack killed at least 156 people, including 120 children, while the Lamerd strike killed at least 21 civilians, including seven children. The experts cited evidence including missile capabilities and reports of a preliminary US inquiry, while also accusing Iranian authorities of crimes against humanity during a nationwide crackdown on January protests.
