Billboard · 3 hours ago

UnitedMasters, the independent music company led by CEO Steve Stoute, has appointed four new executives to strengthen its leadership team, the company announced on Monday 10 August. The hires span marketing, brand partnerships, commerce and operations, reflecting the company's continued investment in infrastructure and talent as it seeks to support independent artists on a global scale.

Todd L. Perry II joins from Warner Records as vp/head of artist and label marketing, while Luca Zanello, previously of The Orchard, Roc Nation and MSM Group, becomes head of brand and sync. Goldie Harris, who has led global commerce strategies across the US, Africa and Latin America, takes on the role of head of commerce, and Jason Peerless, formerly of Universal Music Group and Def Jam, becomes vp of artist and label operations. The appointments come amid a strong year for UnitedMasters, including Brent Faiyaz's album ICON topping the R&B Albums chart, gold and platinum certifications for BigXthaPlug, and four-times platinum status for FloyyMenor's "GATA ONLY", alongside new roster signings including La Reezy and Grace Carter.
