United States international Bodugum Akhilesh Reddy has been banned from all forms of cricket for eight years after an International Cricket Council (ICC) Anti-Corruption Tribunal found him guilty of match-fixing during the Abu Dhabi T10 League last year. The case is a significant blow for USA cricket, as the 26-year-old spinner was a rising international player who had only recently made his debut for the national side.

The tribunal found Reddy breached three counts of the sport's anti-corruption code, including attempting to fix or improperly influence matches at the ADT10 2025, encouraging another participant to do the same, and obstructing the investigation by deleting data and messages from his phone. He played for the Aspin Stallions, a side that also featured former India spinner Harbhajan Singh and England's Sam Billings and reached the 2025 final. Reddy made his USA debut against the Cayman Islands in April 2025 and has played four T20 internationals; his ban has been backdated to 21 November 2025, when he was first provisionally suspended.
