Dea Lawrence, Variety's co-president and publisher, described the event as a "defining fixture" of the entertainment industry that unites the creative community, talent and fans, underscoring its growing role in Comic-Con-adjacent programming.

The lineup features cast and creators from a wide range of major franchises, including Michelle Yeoh and Hunter Schafer for "Blade Runner 2099", Alan Ritchson for "Reacher & Neagley", and ensembles from "Star Trek: Strange New Worlds", "The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power", "The Walking Dead: Dead City", "Silo", "Percy Jackson and the Olympians" and "Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender", among others. The studio is held in partnership with Google TV and Nintendo, both returning sponsors, reinforcing the event's established place on the San Diego convention calendar.
