Riftbound, the League of Legends trading card game, is introducing "opposing domain" Champion Legends for the first time in its fourth set, Vendetta. Akali blends Red (Fury) and Green (Calm) domains, with a Legend card built around retreating attacking units to trigger extra abilities, mirroring her in-game "smoke bomb" playstyle. Jayce combines Orange (Body) and Blue (Mind), focusing on readying gear and units for combo-heavy play. Both champions use a new "Empowered" keyword, letting players pay a cost, such as runes or banishing a card, to unlock stronger effects, giving their Legends a weaker early game that rewards later investment.
