VENUS GRRRLS have announced a new EP, 'To Die As Lovers May', set for release on 16 October via Killabop. The five-track collection explores themes of death, love and romanticism, blending 90s grunge melancholy with 80s goth atmospherics, and drawing on 19th-century literature and mythology to tell a story of romance, decay and acquiescence.

The tracklist comprises 'Eve', 'Carmilla', 'Mother Knows', 'Evergreen' and 'Wormfood', featuring previously released single 'Eve' alongside newly unveiled track 'Mother Knows', which vocalist GK said was inspired by the legend that Mary Shelley once had sex atop her mother's grave. The band will also embark on a UK headline tour from late October into November, taking in cities including Glasgow, Newcastle, Bristol, Cardiff, London, Liverpool and Leeds.
