Talent and literary agency Verve has signed filmmaker Anna Mastro for representation, adding a director with a growing footprint across major film and television projects. The move reflects Mastro's rising profile, as she juggles high-profile feature work with a steady stream of television directing assignments for major streamers and networks.

Mastro is currently directing the feature adaptation of the video game Gravity Rush for PlayStation Productions and Scott Free, and is attached to helm the romantic comedy Katfished for Rebelle Media, alongside earlier features including Disney+'s Secret Society of Second Born Royals. In television, she recently directed the Season 3 finale block of Netflix's hit XO, Kitty and is executive producing the YA series Just One Day, starring Kathryn Newton, which has just moved from Amazon to Hulu. Her extensive credits also span The Irrational, True Lies, Echoes, Marvel's Runaways, The Rookie, Shameless, Gossip Girl and Jane the Virgin, and she began her career directing music videos and commercials for artists such as The Pussycat Dolls and Katy Perry. Mastro will continue to be represented for legal matters by attorney Lauren Partipilo of Hansen, Jacobson, Teller.
