22Dogs VFX, an Italian visual effects studio with credits on major productions including Apple TV's The Morning Show and Netflix's Outer Banks, has established a new production facility at Pinewood Toronto Studios as its North American headquarters. This expansion marks the company's third production base globally and follows its existing offices in Milan and Tenerife, as well as a commercial office in Los Angeles. The move reflects Toronto's growing appeal to international VFX studios seeking access to tax incentives, favourable currency rates and lower labour costs in Ontario.

The Toronto facility will operate under the day-to-day leadership of Samara Melanson, head of studio, whilst the Los Angeles office continues to liaise with major studios and streaming services. 22Dogs joins an established ecosystem of global VFX companies operating from Toronto, where Pinewood Studios already hosts production hubs for Netflix and Amazon MGM Studios. Founder Carlo Tosi stated that Toronto represented a "natural next step" in the company's international growth, whilst Pinewood's general manager praised the investment as a reflection of Ontario's strong reputation in the screen industry.
