Blabbermouth has reviewed "Vice Business Only", the debut album from V.B.O., a new project pairing Wind Rose vocalist Francesco Cavalieri with electronic artist Simone Giusti. The record leans heavily into 1980s pop and AOR nostalgia, joining a wider trend of retro revivalism in both mainstream pop and metal, and the reviewer rates it a strong, if familiar, addition to that genre.

The nine-track album opens with a reworked version of the operatic aria "Vesti la Giubba" before moving through synth-driven, electronically produced songs such as "Bring on the Fire" and "Waiting for the Dawn", drawing comparisons to Tears for Fears, Mr. Mister and Depeche Mode. It closes with a heavier cover of Duran Duran's 1984 track "The Wild Boys".
