Reports claim that Grand Theft Auto 6’s Vice City will be about twice the size of Los Santos in GTA V, while the wider state of Leonida may contain far more populated space. If accurate, this would suggest Rockstar is aiming for a larger and denser open world, with more substantial towns and rural locations beyond the main city.

The claims were relayed by Brazilian creator DavyJones after a reported visit to Rockstar North, citing co-director Rob Nelson. He said areas outside Vice City could be 11 times the size of Los Santos, with locations including the Leonida Keys, Port Gellhorn and Mount Kalaga National Park; GTA 6 is due for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on 19 November.

  • GTA 6’s Vice City is reportedly twice Los Santos’s size.
  • Leonida may offer much denser rural and smaller-town areas.
  • The claims have not been independently confirmed.
