Victoria Monét Announces ‘Frequency of Love’ Release Date & Drops Kaytranada-Produced ‘Reach Out’ Single
Victoria Monét has announced that her album "Frequency of Love" will be released on 2 October via Lovett Music/RCA Records, alongside a new single, "Reach Out", produced by Kaytranada and D'Mile. The announcement marks the next step in the Grammy-winning singer-songwriter's career following her 2023 debut album "Jaguar II", and comes as she continues her high-profile collaborations and touring commitments.
"Reach Out" is a track about longing for reconciliation with an ex-partner, and its music video, directed by Dave Meyers with choreography by Sean Bankhead, draws on a 1990s R&B aesthetic reminiscent of Mary J. Blige and Janet Jackson. The 22-track "Frequency of Love" follows Monét's recent single "Let Me", which topped the Adult R&B Airplay chart in June, and features a nude cover image adorned with gold jewellery. Monét, 37, is currently touring as support for Bruno Mars's The Romantic Tour in Europe, with a Wembley Stadium date set for 24 July.
