Mojang has released an official gameplay trailer for Minecraft Dungeons II ahead of its launch on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 next month. The trailer reveals the Sift, a new dimension accessed through mysterious rifts that have been appearing since the game's announcement, introducing fresh dangers and unusual landscapes for players to explore.

The action RPG sees players facing new enemies, teaming up with friends, customising gear and taking part in explosive battles as they venture through the Sift. Pre-orders are now open, with the game set to release on 29th September 2026, following on from the original Minecraft Dungeons, which launched on Switch in 2020 and went on to receive numerous updates and DLC.
