Paramount and Legendary have released a special preview for their forthcoming live-action Street Fighter film, showing Ryu, played by Andrew Koji, fighting Blanka, played by Jason Momoa. The footage also includes appearances by prominent fighting-game figures, underlining an effort to appeal to the series’ established competitive community ahead of the film’s cinema release.

The film is scheduled to reach theatres on 14 October 2026. Separately, Capcom has announced a limited Street Fighter 6 collaboration event, Way of the Oni x Way of the Fist, running from 7 to 31 August after new DLC character Yasmine arrives on 3 August; players who log in can receive free cosmetic rewards and take part in themed Battle Hub activities.
