A Tucson police recruit was fatally shot in an incident on Tuesday morning that also left his fiancée, a corrections officer, hospitalised with a gunshot wound. The Pima County Sheriff's Department is actively investigating the double shooting and has released surveillance video footage showing the three suspects involved in the incident.

Law enforcement has secured an arrest warrant for Alex James Barnett, 33, identified as one of the three suspects in connection with the shooting. Authorities continue to pursue leads to locate and apprehend the remaining two suspects as part of their ongoing investigation.
