Vince Gill Helps Nashville Say Goodbye to the Queen of Country Music During ‘A Celebration of Dolly Parton’

Vince Gill honoured Dolly Parton at a Nashville tribute concert, performing “A Few Old Memories” as country stars gathered to celebrate her life and music. The event, titled “I Will Always Love You: A Celebration of Dolly Parton”, brought together performers and personal tributes to a singer whose influence spans generations.

The Country Music Association organised the two-hour special with Disney and ABC, fitting nearly two dozen performers into the programme. Gill had previously sung with Parton at the CMA Awards and described her as widely loved, recalling their performance of “I Will Always Love You” as one of the most beautiful sounds he had heard.
