Voltage Pictures has taken worldwide sales rights to "I Wish I Never Had Sex With Him," a romantic comedy starring Madelaine Petsch, launching sales at the Toronto International Film Festival. The film adapts Monique Sorgen's book "How Long You Should Wait to Have Sex" and gives the genre a time-loop twist, aiming to capitalise on continued audience demand for high-concept romantic comedies.

Petsch plays Samantha, an ambitious Nashville magazine editor who, on the eve of her 30th birthday, ends up waking beside the wrong man after a night out with eligible bachelor Boyd Davenport (Noah Fearnley). Her regretful outburst sends her back to the start of the night, in a "Groundhog Day"-style premise. Directed by Tyler-Marie Evans and now in post-production, the cast also includes Brett Dier, Alexis Kemp, Luke Spencer Roberts and Chet Hanks, with the film produced and financed by Korea's Aanaxion Studio alongside Ambitious Entertainment.
