Wakefield pay ‘substantial’ fee for Hull FC’s Litten

BBC Sport · 2 hours ago

Hull FC centre Davy Litten will join fellow Super League side Wakefield Trinity at the end of the 2026 season, in a switch that comes after the player requested a transfer. The 23-year-old has signed a four-year contract with Wakefield, who are currently third in the Super League table, giving the West Yorkshire club a long-term addition to their squad.

Hull said they had accepted a "significant six-figure transfer fee" from Wakefield, while Wakefield described the sum as "substantial" without disclosing the exact figure. Litten, who made his Super League debut for Hull in 2022, said he was "grateful" for the move and excited about Wakefield's trajectory both on and off the pitch, adding he could not wait to begin life at the club in 2027.
