Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden Revenues Climb 11% to $390 Million Thanks to ‘Harry Potter’ Tour, Increased Production (EXCLUSIVE)

Variety ·

Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden reported an 11% rise in revenue to £292 million ($390 million) for the year ending 2025, as visitor spending at its Harry Potter tour and demand for studio facilities increased. The growth highlights the site’s importance both as a major visitor attraction and as a production hub for Warner Bros. projects.

The tour generated £185 million, up from £177 million, and accounted for 63% of revenue; facilities, equipment and services brought in £107 million, up from £87 million. Gross profit rose 10% to £200 million, while post-tax profit fell 15%, partly because the tax on profit more than doubled to £29 million. Warner Bros. Discovery spent £263 million on expansion, which is set to add 400,000 square feet, including 10 sound stages, and increase production capacity by more than 50%; completion is expected in the second quarter of 2027.

  • Leavesden revenue rose 11% to £292 million.
  • The Harry Potter tour contributed £185 million.
  • Expansion will add 10 sound stages and over 50% more capacity.

Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden is a film and television production site in Hertfordshire, as well as the home of the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter. The tour gives visitors a behind-the-scenes look at sets, costumes and props from the films.

The site’s income comes from both visitors and productions using its stages, equipment and services. Warner Bros. Discovery, the studio’s parent company, is expanding the production facilities, a project that is expected to add 10 sound stages by 2027.

The figures show how Leavesden combines tourism with film and television work. Its growth matters to the company’s ability to host productions and attract visitors, while profit after tax can also be affected by costs such as tax.
