Wasserman Buy Out Moves Forward With Investment From Providence

Providence Equity Partners has announced an additional investment in The Team to enable the acquisition of Wasserman Media Group from its founder Casey Wasserman. Providence, which already held approximately 60% of the agency, is providing capital to complete the buyout transaction expected later this year, with Michael Watts taking over as chief executive officer.
