Watch Bebe Rexha Perform Joyous Medley of ‘New Religion,’ ‘Sad Girls’ on ‘Fallon’
Bebe Rexha performed a lively medley of her singles "New Religion" and "Sad Girls" on The Tonight Show, backed by a group of dancers in a club-inspired routine. Both tracks feature on her latest album, Dirty Blonde, which marks her first release as an independent artist, following her split from longtime label Warner Music earlier this year.
"Sad Girls", released in May with David Guetta, followed "New Religion" in March, her first single put out on her own label. Rexha said the song was written for anyone dancing through heartbreak, while she described making Dirty Blonde independently as a reminder of why she fell in love with music, calling the album her "truest form". After parting ways with Warner in January, she signed with independent distributor Empire, which also provides some label and publishing services.
