BEHEMOTH frontman Adam "Nergal" Darski teamed up with Icelandic black metal band MISÞYRMING to perform his group's 1995 debut album, "Sventevith (Storming Near The Baltic)", in full for the first time as a complete conceptual piece. The one-off collaboration, staged at the 2026 Hellsinki Metal Festival in Helsinki, Finland, marks the 30th anniversary of the record and offers fans a rare live rendition of BEHEMOTH's earliest material.

Fan-filmed footage of the 8 August performance has since circulated online. BEHEMOTH, formed by Darski in Poland in 1991, evolved from its black metal roots into a death metal-infused sound across acclaimed releases such as "Demigod" (2004), "The Apostasy" (2007), "Evangelion" (2009) and 2014's "The Satanist". The band's most recent studio album, "The Shit Ov God", was released in May 2025 via Nuclear Blast Records, produced by Jens Bogren.
