Chase & Status made a surprise appearance during Skrillex's headline set at Boomtown 2026, joining him on stage for a B2B performance that included an unreleased track featuring Brazilian vocals. The cameo has sparked fan speculation about a potential future collaboration between the two acts, and comes just two weeks before Chase & Status headline Reading & Leeds festival.

Skrillex closed the Hydro XL stage at the Matterley Estate near Winchester on the night of Sunday 16 August, playing tracks spanning his career including material from his recent album "SOMA"; his set was also paused for around 20 minutes earlier in the night amid crowd-control concerns. Chase & Status will headline the new Grid stage at Leeds on Friday 28 August and at Reading on Sunday 30 August, their only full shows of 2026, as part of an all-British-and-Irish headline line-up alongside Charli XCX, Dave, Florence + The Machine, Fontaines D.C. and Raye — the festival's first such line-up in 25 years.
