Watch comedy troupe Broken Lizard raid Limp Bizkit show as Super Troopers to issue noise complaint
Comedy troupe Broken Lizard interrupted Limp Bizkit's set at a US festival on 18 July, appearing dressed as their "Super Troopers" Vermont state trooper characters to stage a fake noise complaint. The stunt, part of a promotional push for the upcoming film "Super Troopers 3", initially confused some audience members before the group joined the band on stage for a closing performance of "Break Stuff".
The prank took place as Limp Bizkit headlined the opening night of Creed's Summer Of '99 And Beyond Festival in Tinley Park, Illinois, alongside acts including Cypress Hill, Bush and Puddle Of Mudd. "Super Troopers 3" reunites the original cast and is released on 7 August through Searchlight Pictures. The cameo follows other recent Limp Bizkit guest appearances, including comedian Tom Green joining them in Ottawa, and comes amid a wider resurgence for the band, who recently headlined Download Festival for the first time and released their first new single since 2021.
