Watch: FATES WARNING’s RAY ALDER And JIM MATHEOS Perform Acoustic Version Of ‘Under The Sun’
FATES WARNING singer Ray Alder and guitarist Jim Matheos have shared a video of themselves performing an acoustic rendition of "Under The Sun," a track from the band's 2020 album "Long Day Good Night." The clip was filmed during promotional work for their side project NORTH SEA ECHOES and marks the first time the pair have played material from that album live, however informally.
The performance ties into the release of NORTH SEA ECHOES' new album "How To Cast A Shadow," due out on 24 July via Metal Blade Records, following the project's acclaimed 2024 debut "Really Good Terrible Things." Alder has fronted FATES WARNING for 37 years, while Matheos co-founded the band in 1984; FATES WARNING itself has not performed live since completing a North American tour in April 2019.
