Fear Factory performed their new single "Roboticist" live for the first time on 29 August 2026, opening their "Cybernetic Domination" European tour at Tama in Poznań, Poland. The track, released the same day via Nuclear Blast, is the industrial metal band's first release to feature singer Milo Silvestro and drummer Pete Webber, who have toured with the group for almost three and a half years. Guitarist Dino Cazares described the song as marking the start of a new era for the band, blending themes of man, machine and artificial intelligence that Fear Factory has long explored.

"Roboticist" was produced by Damien Rainaud and arrived alongside a cinematic music video directed by Vincente Cordero and produced by Arion Csihar. The Poznań setlist of 17 songs included several live debuts and rarities, such as "Acres Of Skin" and songs not performed since 2001 and 2005. In a separate interview, Cazares discussed the song's lyrical concept about a robot-building "architect of the artificial" and said the band has not used AI in composing their music, despite the technology's presence in modern recording software. The "Cybernetic Domination" tour, with support acts Crystal Lake, Hate and The Nocturnal Affair, runs through to a final show in London on 10 October.
