The Spanish singer-songwriter Guitarricadelafuente made his television debut on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" on Tuesday night, performing his track "BABIECA!" from his 2025 album Spanish Leather. Known for blending traditional Spanish folk with contemporary sounds, the artist has been gaining wider international attention, making this network television appearance a notable milestone in his growing crossover profile.

Introduced by guest host Colman Domingo, Guitarricadelafuente opened the performance singing softly while playing a zanfona (hurdy-gurdy), before being joined by his band as the song built into an upbeat, club-inspired finish. "BABIECA!" was inspired by the nightclub where his parents met, and the artist has said Spanish Leather was made to feel more contemporary and personal, recorded partly in New York and Los Angeles with producer Carter Lang. Beyond music, he has further screen appearances lined up this year, including his acting debut in the war epic La Bola Negra, directed by Los Javis, which won the Best Director prize at Cannes and stars Penélope Cruz and Glenn Close; it opens in cinemas on 6 November before streaming on Netflix from 4 December.
