Kacey Musgraves has released the official music video for "Mexico Honey," a romantic and sultry visual filmed in Mexico. The eight-time Grammy winner unveiled the video on 22 July, showing her and an onscreen lover enjoying an intimate desert getaway, reflecting the sun-soaked, passionate themes of the song itself.

The video, directed by Running Bear (Alexa Stone and Stephen Kinihopoulos), features Musgraves in scenes including a car ride, a karaoke bar performance, and tender moments with her love interest in bed and around a bathroom, as well as a shot of her holding a colourful parrot. According to a press release, the video pays tribute to "the captivating beauty of Mexico" alongside the passion behind the song. "Mexico Honey" features on Musgraves' sixth studio album, Middle of Nowhere, which reached number three on the Billboard 200 after its release in May, led by the single "Dry Spell."
