Donald Trump welcomed the Los Angeles Dodgers to the White House to celebrate their 2025 World Series victory, marking the team’s second consecutive championship. The event follows the longstanding tradition of US presidents hosting title-winning sports teams, although the Dodgers’ visit drew attention because it was their second White House appearance in two years.

At a Rose Garden ceremony on 23 July, Trump praised the Dodgers as “one of the great brands” and highlighted their seven-game World Series win over the Toronto Blue Jays. Stars including Shohei Ohtani and Freddie Freeman attended; Trump also received a championship ring from Dodgers chairman Mark Walter. The team had previously visited the White House in April 2025 after winning the 2024 World Series.
