Maisie Peters paid tribute to Dolly Parton at Reading Festival by covering ‘Here You Come Again’ during her main-stage set on 29 August. The performance followed Parton’s death earlier this week, aged 80, and joined a wider wave of tributes to the influential country singer and philanthropist.

Peters’ set also featured songs from her May album ‘Florescence’, including ‘Questions’, ‘Girl’s Just Flying’ and ‘My Regards’, alongside established favourites such as ‘Lost The Breakup’ and ‘History Of Man’. Parton’s 1977 hit, written by Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil, was her first major pop crossover success, reaching number three on the Billboard Hot 100 and earning her first Grammy.
