The new line-up of American progressive metal band Nevermore has kicked off its summer 2026 European tour, performing at the Hills of Rock festival in Plovdiv, Bulgaria on 26 July. The performance follows the band's live debut with its refreshed roster in April, marking a further step in Nevermore's return following its effective split in 2011 and the death of original vocalist Warrel Dane in 2017.

Founding members Jeff Loomis (guitar) and Van Williams (drums) are now joined by new recruits Jack Cattoi (guitar), Semir Özerkan (bass) and vocalist Berzan Önen, who replaced Dane after a "world search" for new members. The Bulgaria set featured a ten-song setlist drawing on the band's back catalogue, including "Beyond Within", "Believe In Nothing" and "The River Dragon Has Come". Loomis and Williams have spoken warmly of the new line-up, with Williams describing new material as "delicious" and Loomis praising Önen's emotional delivery and evident admiration for Dane's singing style.
