Phoebe Bridgers returned to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on 15 July for a stripped-back acoustic performance of her new single 'Lost Boys', a night after giving the song its television debut on the same programme with a full band. The appearances promote her forthcoming album 'Lost Weekend', the follow-up to 2020's 'Punisher', due out on 14 August via Dead Oceans, and highlight renewed momentum ahead of her upcoming world tour.

The acoustic rendition brought the Peter Pan-inspired lyrics of 'Lost Boys' into sharper focus; the studio version features backing vocals from Boygenius bandmates Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker, guitar from Christian Lee Hutson and contributions from Jack Antonoff. Bridgers has recently played live shows in Roswell and at Madison Square Garden, debuting several new tracks, and will embark on "The Lost Tour" from September, taking in North America before UK, Irish and European dates in November and December, including London's O2 on 1 December, with a "no phones" policy at all shows.
