Tame Impala invited Jennie of BLACKPINK and Djo, the musical project of actor Joe Keery, on stage at consecutive Boston shows during its North American ‘Deadbeat’ arena tour. The guest appearances highlighted Kevin Parker’s recent collaborations and gave live audiences performances of songs already linked to both artists.

Jennie joined the band at TD Garden on 29 July for the collaborative version of ‘Dracula’, a remix released in February and a regular part of her solo sets. The previous night, Djo—who is supporting Tame Impala on the tour—performed ‘Loser’ with Parker after appearing in its music video; the tour continues in Charlotte on 1 August before moving to Australia in October.
