A teenage rider was pursued by South Yorkshire Police in Doncaster after operating an off-road motorcycle illegally on public roads, weaving between vehicles in dangerous fashion. The pursuit ended when the 15-year-old misjudged a curb and was thrown to the ground, suffering a crash without protective equipment or helmet.

The youth faced charges for dangerous driving, driving without a licence, and operating an uninsured vehicle. The court sentenced them to six months of mandatory attendance at a Youth Justice Service panel alongside a parent, plus a monetary penalty.
