The Jonas Brothers have unveiled the first full trailer for "Camp Rock 3", a follow-up to their popular Disney Channel films, which sees Joe, Nick and Kevin return to Camp Rock not as counsellors but as members of the band Connect 3 searching for a new opening act. The release marks a significant nostalgia play for Disney, reviving a franchise that first captured teen audiences in 2008, and sets up a talent-contest format in which young campers compete for the chance to tour with the band.

Posted on Tuesday, the two-minute trailer shows the trio challenging campers to complete three rounds before a "Final Jam" decides the winner, with the synopsis promising rising tensions, new alliances and romance along the way. New cast members Liamani Segura and Malachi Barton play campers Sage and Fletch, whose budding romance is complicated by the competition, echoing storylines from the original films involving Demi Lovato. Maria Canals-Barrera reprises her role as the camp chef, while Sherry Cola joins as the band's tour manager; Lovato, though not appearing on screen, is an executive producer alongside the Jonas brothers. "Camp Rock 3" premieres on Disney Channel on 13 August, streaming on Disney+ the following day.
